The aeolian cap is used to prevent rain from going into the pipe, but above all to prevent wind from creating a plug effect which would compromise the function of the pipe.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE INSPECTIONS AND THE MAINTENANCE OF THE ROTATING CONNECTION
THE MAINTENANCE IS EVEN MORE NECESSARY AT THE MOMENT OF THE INSTALLATION OF THE ASPIRATOR:

A: on shafts with high temperature exhausted air which can drive up the tin lubricant of the inner bearings.
B: on wood chimneys whose fumes can leave soot or tar deposits which could stop the bearings and the rotating element.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR DISASSEMBLY:
1- Screw out the bronze die on the rotating.
2- Unthreated the rotating ball and remove the sesel - C - on the staff.
3- Screw out the guard thread - B - and remove the guard - A - .
4- Fill the tin with brake lubricant or with thin oil for high temperature

N.B.: In case of blocked bearings, unthreated the staff and the top bearing keeping the staff firmly, beat on the bracket - D - in the corrispondence of the tin.
